butter on both slices

thickly lengthwise-cut cucumber

sprinkled with salt + pepper

the flowers are thriving

(i thought i eradicated the susans two years ago, but they’re back en force)

oh, we reinforced the vegetable garden fence with chicken wire, and the bunnies are gone! dancing just thinking of it. we saw them run around the garden’s perimeter for two days, looking at it and trying to get through their usual spots. it was funny.
