While looking for “better” Spanish words, I’ve stumbled upon inaccurate English words in the published novel! Like, for example: summersault. It didn’t come up in one dictionary, but in another it is: a less common way of saying somersault. Then there was trooper, as in “You’re a trooper!” The word should be trouper. I did not know that. Will re-upload the manuscript and wait to see if any others pop up in the next day or two.
It is stressful but fun because of the extensive language lesson and because it feels like a rebirth of a work I like so much. To boot, I am seeing tidbits that I could expand in A Tale To Tell, where some of these characters resurface. Reading nuances about the characters blew me away. Presume I’ll come across more cues.

he only negative about translating Mine To Give is that I’ve ignored, and continue to ignore, A Tale To Tell against my wishes. What if I lose the thread, the oomph to write what it is meant to be! I actually asked it yesterday not to go away, and to come back if it has. =) As you can see, I’ve changed little about being organized and tangential and sporadic.
I could say It’s just me, but I’m not doing that. I can be me and create. It’s so true. I can only be me, only want to be, only am, so how else would I create? Do I not create because I’m too afraid to be me? That’s a c-r-a-z-y wild circle.

with passion and confidence, humbly, i’m diving in. after all, isn’t that how and why this blog started?
