translating Mine To Give. Think it may need another do-over or benefit from a different set of eyes (gulp) after this round, but I’m only on the 6^th chapter, so why put the cart before the horse, right?

Is that how it goes? I’m usually not good with idioms and sayings — know what I mean, but don’t always say it correctly.

nywho, that is exactly what’s happening … WAIT! Too funny! My husband just called and was buttering me up … actually, that’s not what he was doing. As he finished speaking, I said: Yea, yea, stop blowing air up my butt. 🙄 And laughing, he said: I think the expression is blowing smoke up you a@#.” 😆 See what I mean?

As I was saying, it is idioms and expressions that befuddle me as I review the first translation attempt, which is taking longer because I have to think and create conversations (in my head and out loud), hoping the correct word appears. Sometimes I completely change the sentence, paragraph, or convo so it makes sense in Spanish. It is a different language, so the tale will sound different too.
