in a fury. I was confused. Did I say something wrong? But whatever. Eventually, he cooled off and we continued on our way, left there and went to Luquillo, a stunning beach not far from the rainforest with lines of kiosks that serve yumminess!!!

We went to El Yunque on February 13, 2012 (just peeked at the photographs). A few weeks later, sitting under covers on the couch watching television, I asked him, “Do you wonder what that thing was that came down the mountain when we walked the trail?”
“i have something to confess,” he said
“What?” I smiled. “You wanted to see an animal or something,” he looked at me, “so I was throwing things up the mountain so you would think—” I. Stopped. Listening. I believe I laughed and opened my eyes wide and threw off the cozy blanket.

“You were so intent on seeing something, I thought that if you heard it it would be enough. The last one was a coconut.
