… it sounds perfect, makes sense, flows …

healing is a symbol of forgiveness

I have read this, although not written so straightforwardly. Not read, actually, but gleaned (great word!) this before. So: is it your forgiveness of others or forgiving yourself? I say both. Read a few years ago (may look for it) that when we do not forgive, we hold ourselves prisoners. Rings true, no? That’s because it is.

perhaps, even without realizing it, a part of us clings to the “wrong” (whether real or perceived)
therefore, we are not free to be

We take up this clinging role and become enslaved by thoughts — may seem extreme, but it isn’t. Just seems so. I do it too, try as I may to let go. But as with everything else: practice makes perfect. Cliché-ish, I know, but clichés are what they are because they’re true, thus overused.

the freer we are in spirit, the closer we get to perfection
