rooted and established in love

— does that even sound realistic?

a line from Ephesians

3:17

it is beyond realistic

it’s our essence

Wonder what most of us are truly rooted in? Well, I know what I’ve been rooted in, and it’s been not-so-good. Or wrong. And | or unnecessary. This morning it’s something … was about to write untouchable but realized that all I could and have been rooted in is not tactile.

digressed already =/

I am rooted in spirit. While listening to a meditation guidance, I veered off, taking strength not as a tree (literally), but figuratively. Like a tree, yes, with strong, deep roots imbibing a steady, powerful sense like air and sun — an energy or awareness that envelops me softly with peace.

a stable presence

It is amazing what + how the body feels without the mind’s chatter, which often leads to floundering, even if in thought, as when tossed by waves, buffeted by wind, encircled by clouds. You get the idea. Deep inside, the real part of our being is stable.
