seems natural, a given. Perhaps it’s the lyrics and not his voice. Not sure. But just heard this song while doing πŸ§˜πŸ½β€β™€οΈ and, since I had planned to post about it soon-ish, decided why not now? It is fresh in my ears and mind.

I did something so out of the ordinary a few years ago … well, more than a few now that I think of it (2010!). Looking to see where Sting was touring, in case it was near and I could finagle to go, I found out that he was in concert twenty minutes away from my office that day. I called my boyfriend (husband now), and my son, to see if they would go with me. Nope. It was a Thursday afternoon.
It didn’t take long for me to leave the office, buy comfortable clothes and shoes, and get one ticket. Yes, I went to the concert alone, sat out in the open β€” it was a perfect summer day β€” and enjoyed Sting’s Symphonicity concert. Blew me away. I had seen him before, but that evening was something special.

And tonight, while slowly bending my body into poses, I felt the rain of forgiveness.
