does freedom (of the soul) have a price? or a sacrifice?
this thought just popped in my head
— and since I am striving to engage only worthy ones, this one makes the cut. why the thought occurred I may not ponder; whether YES or NO, I am. so I looked up the definition of both price and sacrifice (then strive, and one of its definitions is endeavor 😄). anyway, the answer is unequivocally NO: as in leaving no doubt, unquestionable. saying: don’t even go there!
we pay a price and sacrifice
when we don’t live in freedom. I like the first definition of freedom: the absence of necessity, coercion, or constraint in choice or action.
so I ask: do I need to do anything to attain freedom? YES. need to turn away from myself, let go — no clinging or holding on to anything — and invite and wait for that place inside to take over.
i believe it’s true:
where the spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom
