so what if you were to meet him
or her?
may be something akin
to a whisper
why ask you instead of me?
What if I, me, by myself, come face to face with our Creator? Because I have been in his midst, or vice versa. The spirit resides in
usme, I know this, but corporeal, of the senses — as CS Lewis put it: alive, pulling at the other end of the cord is another story.
I don’t have to find God because he is inside ofusme, but do search for a way OUT OF THE WORLDLY existence to step into the NATURAL + SPIRITUAL reality.
HOW, YOU ASK?
By letting go. So simple it is almost (inourmy mind) impossible or improbable, and nearly unbearable. Yet … could we (I) be BEYOND + ABOVE the here + now? I think so — want to say know so.
I will remain quiet + will look on from my dwelling place, like shimmering heat in the sunshine.
ISAIAH 18:4
(love the visual)
Shimmering Blanket of Diamonds is a title in Like a Blue Thread, and what I see as I drive over the small hill that leads me to the beach.
WHY search for a way out to begin with? Because it is how I am meant to live. Not where, but how: realistically, naturally, purely spirit. Wouldn’t want it any other way. It is already our (my) essence, have just stepped out of it.
I presume I’m trying to return.
So now, back to the question: what if you (I) were to happen upon . . . ?
