know by now

. . .

I was quite reluctant to continue, er, no, begin | stay in the Interactive Design class (aka web code) when I read the first assignment: create ten pages of HTML! Good thing we can’t see all the assignments. Otherwise, I might have scrammed. But I figured I should at least try; I am not looking to get a grade or a certificate for anything.

i am looking to learn

and take the class I actually want to take but which requires this one. The only reason why I’m taking Interactive Design. On the other hand, I have wondered what I will do when my website becomes defunct. I haven’t updated the date in the footer because the font I used on most pages isn’t available when I try to upload the change. Would I be able to upload it at all after I change it everywhere???

i am not willing to risk it

although it bugs me not to update the footer. I look at footers on websites to see how current they are because it is so simple to update! Anywho, the point is that ID is a basic class for creating web pages with code. That’s right. Code. My son has been telling me to learn, or at least try it (he has great faith in me =) for yeeears …

and yes, it is doable

❛Painful❜ and time-consuming but doable. So, will I redo the website? My son tells me to create it in WordPress, where I do the blog. But it seems constrained. Perhaps it isn’t, but because I don’t know, I don’t.

prefer adobe illustrator

In the first class (video), the teacher suggested we look at Catalina Estrada’s work, and I was like Why bother? I’ll never. But as we began to learn about and use the software, I figured, yeah, I see it, I get it. Unnecessary | untrue fear? 🫤
