that's a lot of clubs 😆

and a cigar, but no players. Which meant they were somewhere around the green with more clubs!

It has been over 6 weeks since we returned from a trip to “Pebble” and it didn’t dawn on me to post about it until yesterday — what with work, being sick, dancing (learning coreos for no particular reason. wait, there is a reason: pleasure), it never entered my consciousness!

I did not golf, but chauffeured golfers around, went sight-seeing, roamed around Carmel-by-the Sea almost every day, and indulged in the spa — yes, pampered myself like I never had. Even had breakfast alone (❣️) except for the 1st day.

I wanted to enjoy my book in a little corner where no one would bother me and where I could stay for a bit. So I had my own secluded table.

The evenings were tons of fun: delicious meals, laughter, the firepits. Dozens of them. Cocktails & cider. The sky. While we were there, planets were aligned and visible, they seemed so close too! Maybe due to the Negronis? Anywho, it was trully fantastic to be out in the open, with our group as well as strangers ( I wanted solitude only in the am =), bundled up looking at dancing fire.

Yes, I would like to golf there. And breakfast alone — ok, I’ll concede a few mornings. Yes, I would still spa away — especially now that I know I can hang out there. I would motor around and photograph to my heart’s content, but what I would do too is venture out further.

This was a golf trip for them. I tagged along. If it happens next January again … I know better.

Will post photographs soon
